Jawline score
The gonial angle and jaw width, scored together.
A jawline score is an attempt to put a number on how defined a jaw looks, and any honest version of it uses two measurements rather than one. The gonial angle describes sharpness — the corner where the jaw turns — and a narrow face can produce a crisp angle while still reading as slight. Jaw width relative to cheekbone width describes substance, and a wide jaw with a soft angle reads as heavy rather than defined. Scoring them together is what separates a defined jaw from a small one or a broad one. Around 0.8 is the middle of the band where jaw width carries the lower face without exceeding the cheekbones. This is the facial measurement most affected by things other than bone: body fat around the jaw changes the measured width directly, and a camera above eye level flatters it.
